Time to Vote!

Hey there peeps!  It's the last couple of days of the Kidrobot Munnyworld Custom Contest, and we can really use your votes!

We were thrilled that our submission from last year, Yetibub, was selected for third place in his category by the judges.   We've submitted two entries this year, Roozmonster and Urban Munny.  I'd be eternally grateful if the next time you are logged into Facebook, you could click on the links provided below and vote for our new critters!  You can vote for as many pieces as you like (and once a day) until the end of 31 May 2012.  Thank you so much in advance for doing this!  :)

I hope to post our photos from Comicpalooza within the next few days...

Spring Critter Friday

Howdy everyone! It's Friday- yippee! It's been quite a while since I've posted anything- I've been busy working on my spring critters and getting ready for the April show madness! We've got shows every weekend in April, plus, a few in May- that just means more chances to finally catch up with everyone- hope you'll stop by and say hi!

Btw... I've started to phase out our Etsy shop- don't worry, I won't be shutting it down completely, but I'm listing all of the new critters in our Storenvy shop, http://culturedcritter.storenvy.com You can also click on the Storenvy button in the right column of this blog.

Back to the spring critters, introducing...

30 Artists at Watson Galleries

Watson Galleries is hosting a show with 30 artists both on Friday night (1/21) and Saturday night (1/22) this week, from 6-10 pm! I switched out the critters this past Sunday, so there will be a new bunch for this show. I was very impressed last time with the huge crowd that attended, even in the freezing weather! Hopefully they will return...

This will be Count Frankenbunnyskullyrollie's Watson Gallery debut. The Count was created with the concept in mind of what would happen when a vampire, Frankenstein, bunny and skeleton all become fused into one critter. He was originally created for the Rollie Show at Tenacious Toys in New York, where the artists all created pieces built upon the body of a plastic roll-on deodorant! Yesiree, that would be correct- inside his body, the Count has a pink, plastic Ban roll-on base! The other materials that were used for the Count include a vinyl Skully, vinyl Munny accessories, acrylic paint and ink, varnish, modeling clay, Fimo, Sculpey, and genuine hematite and onyx. He even comes with his own rubber rat comrades to keep him company. The Count would love it if you'd stop by and say hi tomorrow night...
